| I took out a loan at the Brixton Branch of Nedbank, last year June. I was first told I qualify for R73000. I want in to sign the pre agreement, which was with consolidation. I would have gotten about R25000 out. I was happy with that. I then got a phone call the following week, the call centre agent informed me that the amount was reduced to R52000 with consolidation. I said no thank you because that would mean i am only getting R4000 out of the loan. It would mean that I would pay my current debt and the R4000 with an extra R76000 interest and a longer period. The consultant from the bank phoned me and I was told that the loans department will pay me the whole R52000. I asked her if she was sure and she said yes. I then went in to sign the agreement. Which stated that the whole R52000 will be paid to me. I even called the call centre the afternoon and they confirmed the money will be paid to me. The following morning, there was only R4000 deposited into my account and the rest of the money paid to consolidate my loans. I did not want this. I then went into the branch and told them, if they could not fix it, they must cancel it. It is a few months later and still Nedbank has not | |||
