Dear Peter Please help regarding an unfair judgment obtained by Nedbank against me. I learned to my shock that Nedbank had obtained a judment against me for a personal loan which was in arrears (balance +/-R4000). I had been unemployed for over 11 months hence the arrears on my loan. When I re-entered formal employment I went under debt review as understandably I could not service all my financial obligations owing to my unemployment. At the time when Nedbank obtained a judgement against me (15 November 2010) I was long under debt review and servicing my debts (proof available). The attorneys acting on behalf of Nedbank (MSDP) want me to pay them in order to apply to the courts for the judgement to be rescinded. It is very strange that the same people who facilitated the judgement want me to pay them to reverse the same. Please help Peter. I have since paid up the loan with Nedbank. |
