So, Candice Hanekom from Nedbank Insurance, I still await your reply. It is now almost time for the debit order to go off - 2 months after payment of the policy - for which I have to date still NOT received written confirmation! So I decided to phone Nedbank myself as to date, NO correspondence has been received from them - Homeloans - either!!!! Now, my understanding of having taken out retrenchment cover, is that if I NEED the cover and CLAIM, it goes without saying that I probably would need some relief on my homeloan repayments!!!! Well, the lady I just spoke to at Nedbank Homeloans (Ztuthu?) doesn't seem to think so - "can't somebody help me pay every month" she asks me!!!! Why would I be phoning if I had not managed to make another plan?! So, she had to go "check" with her manager - who, it goes without saying, was NOT available as managers are want to do in my expereince with banks. She will phone me back later today, apparently....don't hold your breath!!!! I certainly won't be holding mine...it might be next Christmas before anything happens. Oh, and by the way, I am phoning from a CELLPHONE...as I am UNEMPLOYED....hence the reason I claimed RETRENCHMENT |

Nedbank Homeloans Jamilah assisted me with outstanding service - thank you so much! However, Nedbank Insurance Candice Hanekom responded with a very snooty reply, then a second reply to say it was a system failure and a Mr China will be phoning me. I have yet to hear from them - Ombudsman, here we come! |
