| In 2006 I bought a car for R30 000 the dealer financed the car threw Nedbank and the amount became a personal loan, In 2007 and 2008 I had a tough financial situation, although I never paid the full monthly amount on my account I never missed a month of paying something. From 2009 to date I've paid 500 to 1000.00 every month and even 5000.00 on occasion. I finally saved up some money and contacted Nedbank for a settlement amount to settle the account. The settlement amount they gave me is R50300.00, S is asked them for a settlement discount and they say that because of the status of the loan they can give me a discount. Now I also had personal loans with Standard bank and FNB and both those banks gave me a 20% settlement discount and I settled both those accounts. I have already in total paid Nedbank over R30 000.00 AND to settle I must give them R50 000.00. I can't believe how sick that is, I have funds available to settle this account but NEDBANK won't even talk to me about a settlement discount. So for a 30 000 loan im going to end up paying over 80 000, NEDBANK does not even care about the fact that that's against the law (Induplum). But im going to get a lawyer and take this t | |||
