Termination of Mobile Contract

On or around 15 December 2011 I informed Nashua Mobile that I would not be renewing my Contract after paying my last Instalment in the same month. I was instead notified that the contract has already been converted to Month to Month basis, and that I would only terminate in the following month (January 2012) as I was already late to stop it during the current month.

I was made to complete a Termination of Service Application Form and e-mail it to them. A day after sending the said Form, I received a confirmation that the Service would be terminated on the last working day before the last working day of 31/01/2012. A SMS and e-mail confirming receipt of my Termination of Service Request was sent to me. (Ref# 228019)

On the 26th January 2012, I received a SMS notifying me that my contract has come to an end, and that the Service would now run on a Month to Month Basis pending Cancellation or Upgrade request from me! I have records of all communications between myself and Nashua Mobile, and have no intention of extending this Service as I have already taken up other Contract with another Service Provider.

Surely, this is the worst form of PoorService I had to endure in a long time

Quite Impressed: Within two hours of Posting the Report on HelloPeter I received a call from Nashua Mobile! I was Promised that the Contract indeed would be Terminated as at 31/01/2012 as Previously Notified by them; and that I should Disregard the SMS sent to me which was Contrary to their earlier Assertion. Let's Wait and See, but for I am Impressed!
