Dstv was disconnected in the beginning of January 2012. After a heated debate with a call centre person Hazel I faxed proof of payment for Sep 2011. (This is the payment in dispute). After I faxed proof of statement I contacted the call centre again to confirm that Hazel did receive the fax. The new person who answered did not know about a Hazel in their department. He then ensured me that my payments were paid and that the next payment of R 579 is due end of January 2012. I paid R 650.00 (Taking into consideration the re-connection fee). I received a message that I am in arrears R 521.10. I phoned the Cape Town call center on 31 Jan 2012 and waited for 40min without anyone answering and was disconnected. I tried again twice on 1 Feb 2012 disconnected both times before I could speak to a consultant. Can dstv please rectify my account. If they disconnect my services on 2 Feb 2012 I will not be liable for the re-connection fee. |
