| In December, we bought a new HD PVR decoder. No installation was required as we have everything set up at home. We phoned Multichoice as per instruction on the screen to register the new smart card. Not ONCE during the whole process were we asked if we wanted to cancel our previous account. We were not informed that we would still be billed for that account even if we did not use it. In Jan, my debit order went down for R 1783.92. I normally pay R580 per month for my previous account, smart card number 40118516471. Today we phoned accounts and Leroy Mahlangu informed us that no money would be refunded and that we had been charged for three accounts basically. Two decoders for Jan and one for Dec. I really feel that we should have been informed that the old account would still be deducted. As a customer, I feel violated and blind-sided. Should there not have been a common courtesy call? Or a question somewhere along the line? No, just take my money and let me bear the consequences in an already difficult economic environment. Thanks for making it a little harder for us to get by. | |||
