| HEADLINE | How can Multichoice Default cash customers!? |
In May 2010 I purchased a basic DSTV decoder with installation. I subsequently subsribed to the basic SABC/TBN package for 1 year (R150/pa special). This year May came and my year ended. I decided not to renew and was subsequently cut off. A few weeks later (June 2012) I noticed my decoder was receiving signal. Multichoice seem to have taken it upon themselves to switch me on and subsequently billed me. (R210) The subsequently handed me over for this amount! I responded to the notice & clearly expressed that I DID NOT want their service! I never heard from them & presumed everything was in order... This week I went to apply for finance & was declined due to a "default" which was due to Multichoice! I fail to understand how Multichoice can be allowed to hand customers (especially "advance" CASH customers) over as they offer a pay-to-view service! (You don't pay, they cut you off! Simple!) I have subsequently paid this amount of R210 & contacted Multichoice (just because i know it will be easier than approaching it legally!). They say they will rectify this. My argument is still..."How can they do this?" |

Quite Impressed:
Thank you Multichoice for your quick & positive response! The only thing I am still concerned about is that I would like my name *cleared* at Credit Bureau! (Not just a "status change"!) ...? Otherwise I'm quite satisfied. Thank you Multichoice! Thank you HellloPeter! |
