HD PVR 2P BROKEN WITHIN 40 DAYS OF PURCHASE

Hi There

I am very unhappy with Multichoice as I had bought a pvr 2p and ativated it n 05 December 2011.
Yesterday, 16 Jan 2012 I suddenly get a message bE1 on my decoder. I live in Prince Albert and now have to drive an hour to my closest agent in Oudtshoorn.

When I get there they tell me your 12 month warranty only includes a 30day replacement warranty and because they have no stock they have to send my decoder away and I have to wait a week for not a new one but a refurbished one. If you do the sums, The decoder stopped working just after the 30 days.
I have to now sit without a decoder for a week, get someones old fixed (who knows how many times or how old this decoder is) one back and drive a hour to Oudtshoorn again to fetch it.

I feel dstv could of accommodated me a bit better as we pay a lot of money every month.

As per our telephonic discussion, we can not provide you with a brand new decoder after 30 days of purchase. We will provide you with feedback in regards to the discussed issue as soon as possible
