I came to the end of my two year contract in November, I was due an upgrade. I have not seen a bill from MTN for ages. I was actually taken off the mailing list. I have been a customer since 1995 and spent much with the company over the years. I now live in the Southern Cape and took little interest in my bill. I was making inquiries as to my monthly usage and i noticed a content charge of 136 rand. I then checked all available invoices for the last 4 months Oct 127.00 Nov 131.00 Dec 131.70 Jan 136.09. In a panic I contacted MTN they said they would stop the charge. They denied they had anything to do with the amount they had placed on my Bank account. A company W2mobile was initiating payment for a company called Opra. They said I had initiated the deal by going to some website for content. My phone I use is an old Norkia which never had the where with all to communicate with the internet. I want MTN to sort this problem out. I want an itemized bill for calls made during the contract. MTN is well aware of this **** and have not addressed it. It may be a monkey which will certainly come back to bite.
