Overcharge for Data

On the 7th of January, at MTN Worcester (Mountain Mill), I changed my data bundle on my contract to a 2gig bundle - my account confirmed this.
When I got my account for January my data charges were just over R1300 and total account of R2860.
According to the account I received, I only used approximately 800MB of data for the month of January.
MTN also loaded another 2 Gig Bundle on the 20th of January. How can I be charged for total data usage that is WELL under the total of my bundle???
As soon as I realised this overcharging on my account, I lodged an complaint with MTN service provider at Worcester Mountain Mill Mall on 27 January. At first they tried to explain this in multiple ways, but at the end they conceded that something was not right and formally lodged an enquiry with their head offices.
I am still waiting them to get back to me with an explanation.
They will probably only get back to me after they have withdrawn this money from my bank account.
