Terrible attitude's and even more terrible service

Mr. Price Home in Rustenburg has the most terrible service and its staff has the worst attitude towards its customers. I was told I could not get a refund on an item that I received as a gift (which was in its original packaging with the slip) because it was bought with a credit card, even though the sign on the wall CLEARLY states that I would be able to do so "no problem". I was told that their policy states that I cannot, a policy that is filed in the store room where no customer could possibly see it. The cashier rudely stated that I would need to take something else, which is not what I wanted. The same day, upon asking for a price on the last of an unmarked item, a rude staff member went to "check" for me and never returned. After waiting for over 20 minutes, I left the store. I had to return with my mother so that they could refund me on her credit card (since I do not have one).

Their service is ridiculous and their products are strewn everywhere, unmarked and sometimes damaged. The staff also doesn't mind placing a ladder right in the way of products you are viewing without so much as an "excuse me", so that they can do stock take DURING operating hours!

Indifferent: I received a phone call from the branch manager, she apologised for what happened at the store and is looking into the matter. But since then, I have not seen or received any convincing evidence that anything is going to change. I was impressed that the matter was seen to so quickly, but it has not since been handled and I am not at all under the impression that something like this will not happen in the future and I have not been compensated in any way.
