| On 21/12/2011 I purchased a Hudson Coffee Table as a Christmas present from Sandton City Mr Price Home. When the box was opened on 25/12/2011 however, it contained a light brown wood table instead of the dark ebony wood described on the box. I phoned the store on 26/12/2011 to explain the problem and I was told that I could bring it back into the store to exchange it. On arrival I was informed that the store in fact did not have a replacement and that the closest store with stock was the MPH branch at Norwood Mall. On the 27th I went to Norwood Mall & collected the replacement. When opened at home however, half the bolts needed for assembly were missing. I was then informed that I need to go back to Norwood to collect them. I then had to help disband the showroom stock for the bolts I need. I return home to assemble the table upside down as instructed & when flipped over, I notice that the table corner is chipped/knocked in! On 28/12/2011, MPH Customer Care gave me the number of Valentia who assured me she would ship the replacement table from DBN to the closest store but that it would only be ready for collection early this week and that she would call. I am yet to hear anything | |||
