I'm completely dumbfounded that in 2012 individuals can still deliver such bad service. I bought a couch at Mr Price Home yesterday because I was promised that it would be delivered to me by today. After discussing specifically the delivery times we agreed that the couch could be delivered to me by 5 today. So I left the office at 15:30 and gave the store a call when I got home at 4 to find out if we were still on schedule. I was told that someone told someone else that there were no deliveries today. No one had bothered to call me at 3- as the sales person George had promised when he guaranteed my couch would be delivered today. I was given the run around for almost an hour with promises of 'maybe' it could be delivered today, it could be delivered tomorrow morning, when asked for contact details of the person who said that there would be no deliveries today or for the delivery company's contact details I was once again given the run around. After speaking to the store manager my boyfriend and I decided to cancel the sale and I wish to make it perfectly clear that under no circumstances do I want the couch to be delivered to me. I am extremely disappointed by this whole situation |
