I took up the offer in 2010 on this pre-approved account at Mr Price with a limit of R7000. I received an sms and I got the card in the mail. I went to Mr Price Home in Vaal Mall to activate the account. I had to complete a form, provide my ID and Payslip. The lady at the counter phoned someone or head office (who knows?) and I was told everything is in order. Today, I went to Mr Price Home in River Sqaure, just to stand at the counter to place the purchase on my Mr Price card, and discover that my account is not activated. The gentleman tried to assist me but was put through from one person to another and NO one could help him! So, there I stood with a "purchase" made but couldn't get the goods thanks to a no activation card!!!!!! I left empty handed. So now I want to know if this account is closed? Even though I didn't use it from the time it was supposedly "activated", it shouldn't be closed. When I don't use my clothing account for months, they don't close it!!! If you need more information, please let me know. I would like to know HOW this is going to be solved WITHOUT me going through the whole application again! |
