Hi there. I have the latest MX3 unit (latest version) fitted in my vehicle which 'as advertised' says that I am entitled to 'Roadside Assistance'. On the 24th December 2011, I experienced a flat tyre and when I called the Call Centre I was told that my vehicle is classified as a 'Commercial Vehicle' and they don't offer assistance for my size of vehicle (4x2 Daihatsu Terios). I didn't need a towing service but only someone who can help me to fix my tyre. They gave me a number to call and I was told that I must must get a quote and I am responsible for whatever they charge me. Nobody ever said anything about my vehicle being too big to be towed and there I was thinking that I am all covered for such things until a get such a big surprise on Christmas Eve. Very disappointed...and I am currently looking out for a 'Roadside Assistance' company that will cover my 'COMMERCIAL VEHICLE' |
