YOU ONLY COUNT IF YOU ARE IN THE LATEST MERCEDES

On 22 Nov 2011 I took my Mercedes (2007 model) for a service at Centurion. I had my car there by 07h00 as requested only to sit in a queue (furthest away from where all the latest models are serviced) until just on 08h00. I requested that everything be checked as it would be my last service on my Motor Plan - so was therefore expecting a full day's wait for my car. After accepting work to be carried out on my car (minimum service) I was told at 16h00 that my car would not be ready that day. They did not even bother to offer me a replacement vehicle for the evening - a situation that turned out to be rather costly to me as that evening my mother fell and broke her ankle forcing me to call for an ambulance as I did not have a vehicle to get her to hospital. When I eventually got my car I was not even assisted by my original service adviser and my car wash was really not up to standard - it appeared that the car was just given a quick wash to "get rid of this old customer". Driving my Mercedes has always been a pleasure but this last experience left me feeling like a 2nd class citizen. l have previously had good service from them but this last experience leaves a LOT TO BE DESIRED.
