SMS response service

When servicing your car you then receive a SMS to respond to service level you received. I gave them a low rating and the reason why I did so. As yet I am to receive a response to the SMS. I received my car back from them sounding like a bus, I opened the bonnet to find that the air filter pipes were loose. Why have a sms service when you know that there will be no follow up on it?
