How long would you think the medsical aid takes to pay a claim 2 months maybe 3, well medihelp has managed to stall payment for almost 6 months. After submitting the invoice to them personally and following up with a telephone call to confirm that everything was in order they still manage to stall payment for another month. It is also imposible to get any manger or supervisor on the phone as they are all too busy. What are our rights here as they cxan take all the time in the world to pay and if you miss one payment then thay suspend your membership. |

Hello RodgerBl, Thank you for taking the time to write to us. Under normal cisrcumstances, Medihelp takes less than 6 work days to process claims, after which these are paid at the next payment run (the 10th, 20th and last business day of the month). However, it may be possible that certain claims take longer to process, especially if certain information is omitted on the account.
