Medihelp -How can we not help you!!!

I am tired of my medical aid with all their hidden cost and agendas. I have been with medihelp for a year and a half. The service that I have recieved is just appalling. I don't recieve refunds that are due to me after I followed all the the rules and regulations that is required of a member to recieve a refund. I have to wait nearly 3 months before I recieve feed back on my e-mails to them. When changing my banking and contact details in April last year the information was ignored. Only my bankig details were changed of corse. That seems to be all that is important to Medihelp. As long as they have their money then thats all that counts. They increase my fees as they see fit, whether they have proof or not regarding my income. They request proof of my income after I have gone on leave. In January I had to find out I need a form as well that I supposedly recieved in the post. Now I have to pay R542.00 more for my medical aid. When I send the proof I will be refunded. Right...... as I recieved my other refunds. Medihelp - you need to get help!

As telephonically discussed on 25 January 2012, Medihelp will consider the accounts in respect of Dr Olivier for services rendered on 7 September 2011 and Dr Bettings for services rendered on 8 September 2011 for Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMB). Please accept Medihelp's sincerest apology for the delay in answering your numerous e-mail enquiries received in the Scheme.

Although Medihelp requested you on numerous occasions per e-mail and per SMS to provide us with your proof of income, the required information was not received in the Scheme at this stage. Your monthly subscription for 2012 was therefore calculated accordingly and adjusted to the higher income category. Medihelp notified you of this amendment per SMS on 24 January 2012. In order for the Scheme to adjust your current income category, you are requested to provide Medihelp with your proof of gross monthly income.
