| I had a ceserean done on the 14th of September 2011 and my hospital bill has still not been paid by our medical aid Medihelp. The last communication to them was yesterday (16 January 2012). Lelanie Olivier from the Medi Clinic Cape Gate Cape Town contacted them and still nobody can assist us in saying when this claim will be dealt with or where in the queue it is. I have tried to register on their website to be able to see our claims but I can't even register. I have been contacting the medical aid as well as Lelanie and none of us are getting any positive response from them. My boy is 4months old already and if this claim is not settled soon we will be handed over to the credit department due to the fact that Medihelp is not dealing with this claim. I have notes on everytime I spoke to someone at Medihelp as well as when I speak to Lelanie at Medi Clinic. | |||

Hello celestv, As telephonically discussed on 18 January 2012, an amended account was received from Cape Gate Mediclinic in respect of services rendered on 14 and 15 September 2011. These services were resubmitted for consideration of benefits and details of this transaction will be reported on a future summarised statement. Please accept Medihelp's sincerest apology for the inconvenience and frustration caused with regards to the non-payment of the said account as well as the manner in which your enquiry was handled.
