Very poor service from Membership

Sent a notification of cancellation of membership to Medihelp on 12 August and to date have only got a request for my membership number (which was clearly displayed in my original email!). They have not bothered to respond or acknowledge via email or by post. I will be joining another medical aid at the beginning of October.
