Not paying claim

It has almost been a month since I have submitted my claim to medihelp. After numerous emails, phone calls and faxes, I have not yet received my money! The customer service department told me they have paid my claim two weeks ago. But when I phoned again and spoke to another person, they said it has not been paid, and then should have been paid out last week. Here we are, another week further, and guess what... NO CLAIM HAS BEEN PAID. Your service is poor Medihelp! I'm truly disappointed !!!!!! I must phone all the time, I must send emails. All on my expense. It seems every time I speek to someone at your customer service department, I get another answer. Do you actually know what is happening in your company????

Thank you for writing to us. Medihelp would like to offer its sincerest apology for the manner in which your enquiry was handled and for any inconvenience or frustration caused as a result thereof. Your complaint was however referred to our client service department for investigation and a consultant will contact you in this regard.

Hello CharmaineO,

As telephonically discussed on 23 December 2011, payment was made by the Scheme on 9 December 2011 in respect of the account of Dr van Schoor, but due the fact that your membership was terminated with effect from 1 December 2011 the funds could not be released for payment. Upon receipt of your complaint, the said problem was rectified and Medihelp will reimburse you with the amount of R390.56. The result of this transaction will be reported on your next summarised statement.

Over the Moon: Thank you. It was just disappointing that I had to nag and moan to get service. Just a note, I 'm still with Medihelp, I'm just not the main member anymore, and I'm on a different plan....
