This morning I paid for my hasbrowns with credit card. When I expected to get a receipt to sign, I received the one you usually get after you have signed. I queried that with the teller at the drivethrough and asked her where I must sign. She then asked me for a pen! I did not have and she got up and later came back with a pen and the receipt I am supposed to sign. I told her what she was doing was illegal - that the bank may refuse to pay such a transaction if it has not been signed...I got no reaction. She just made the decision to not make the customer sign, ignoring bank security measures (signature) because she was too lazy to get up a pen in the first place. To add to this, I have never driven to the drive-through without having to wait in the parking area for my food...and it's not that I have huge meals - usually a hasbrown or toast...and then I always get ignorant attitudes. Really not on! |
