Took my car in for 120k service to McCarthy for the first time. After I picked my car I realized that my passenger door was not locking, all doors would lock and it unlocks itself, I reported it and Kenny tried to pass the buck. The next day my left front wheel was making a noise when I changed gears. When I went back we found out that there was a bolt missing and a loose one underneath the car. They tightened the loose 1 and put another one on the empty slot. 120k is major service and everything has to be checked, but they didn't. I have extended warranty with McSure and it took them a week to get confirmation from their own insurance division (it takes Barons Woodmead a day or 2) and Kenny only called me once to update me. While I was waiting for "the call" I saw a box of a stuck plug stuck I my brill behind the VW sign. With the loose wheel I could have died, and the door not locking I could have been highjacked and they never even attempted to compensate me. |
