| I am a very unhappy customer. My Toyota verso 1600, 2006 model was booked for the 90000km service at McCarthy Midrand yesterday (26/01/2012). I received a call from a lady by he name of Laura to inform me about a worn out V-belt which they recommended it be replaced. I gave the go ahead to have that job done. I was horrified, to say the least, that on doing visual inspection at home after my wife had driven home to find that the V-Belt was NOT changed and I was invoiced for it. On doing further visual inspection, i noticed that the air filter enclosure is missing clips to keep the lid in place, I also had the battery on the remote replaced without my concern as this battery was replaced not too long ago. This raises a lot of suspicion. How do I know and prove that the motor vehicle was serviced at all this time around and previous times. Yes, there was a set of 'old'spark plugs which are supposedly from my car! I doubt if my car was serviced at all and hence I paid with my hard earned money. They claim to have topped up brake fluid and they havent proved it to me that there are leaks to warrant the topping of break fluid. | |||
