i bought a car from McCarthy Bloemfontein. The car is a Jaguar of which I was told the car is in perfect condition. Within a month of receiving the car it broke down and was fixed by McCarthy. Only after going to Hello Peter did McCarthy pay the full bill. A month after the car returned to me it broke down again. This time the problem was the Catalytic converter. McCarthy refused to pay for the repair even though the car was with me for only 2 months. I then paid the full R12000 for the repair. In total the car has had R24000 of repairs in the 4 months that I have owned it.This on a car that was valued at R110000. This means nearly a quarter of the cars value has gone to repairs in 4 months of owning it. Today I try to drive out of the mall and the car doesn't go into Reverse, it only goes into Drive so I had to be pushed out of the parking so that I can drive off. I am sick and tired of this car and how McCarthy has intentionally sold me a car that was obviously not in good condition. The car has no service History as the service book has gone "missing". How convenient. I really don't know what to do now.I tried to call their warranty call center and they didn't answer the ph |

Utterly Disgusted:
The issue has been refered to my laws and McCarthy has been severed with letters. We will be also be going to the Consumer Commission. We want a full refund an McCarthy must take back their scrap. |
