Late December 2011, I decided to go to VW McCarthy in Parrow. I walked in and was immediately referred to tall young Caucasian gentlemen with short hair. I explained to him that it was my first time searching for a car to buy, I explained what car I had in mind and how much I would appreciate some guidance in what steps to take. He looked straight into my eyes and gave me the shortest answers possible. Answers such as: "Ja, that's the one" & "That's more expensive" & "We don't have that one" & "Round about R250 000" & "We can't help you with that at the moment" & "Sorry we don't have brochures" & "Ja, well, Those tires will cost more" & "only the bank can do that" . I asked and asked and asked. I kept receiving short answers, All as we stood there in the middle of the shop as if he needed to finish up and go do his "real" work. I left VW McCarthy with my tail in-between my legs, with no more than what I got in the web by myself. That guy made me feel like I can't afford a **** thing. He is good. I felt like ****. After my Fiance heard this fu**ed up story over and over, she decided to take my wounded *** Ego to VW Barons in Bellville. A short Caucasian gentleman welcomed m |

| Quite Impressed: I am impressed by how quick Hello Peter got their attention. I feel like I have someone on my side now if ever something like that happens again. Although I hope it doesn't. I am over the moon by the fact that I was helped to stand up for myself but at the same time sad to know that people are being ill-treated like that for just an apology. Hello Peter is fighting a struggle that many of us fight everyday. I got a call from McCarthy and they apologised. I feel that my dignity has returned. | |||
