On 29 January 2011, I lodged a complaint pertaining to an upsetting incidence at the Makro Wonderboom store. The particulars of the complaint requires no detailed reference to after the excellent manner in which the manager on duty, Mr. Riaan Kleinsmit, attended to my complaint and truly committed to resolving the cause for my dismay. I am of the opinion that a consumer should be equally as willing to commend good service as one is to lodge a complaint - the latter seeming to be raised in abundance while consumers seem stingy with compliments - thus so often resulting in demotivated customer service officials. It is therefore that I wish to commend and sincerely thank Riaan for upholding his promise when he vowed that my complaint would be attended to and the corrective action concluded within 24 hours. Indeed, I received final feedback even before the 24 hour period had lapsed, and his apologies on behalf of Makro and the staff were relayed with sincerity and humbleness. I do believe that the customer service industry, and Makro in this instance, benefits greatly from representatives such as this commited individual. |
