Makro Centurion advertised Grasshopper lace-up half shoes for R369,- or so. I selected a pair, went to pay and was told the price is R100 or so more then advertised. I queried this with the cashier, she investigated with the manager and told me the lower price is only applicable to black shoes and not brown what I wanted. However the ad pamphlet showed both black and brown for the lower price. Is this not cheating, luring customers with false info? or is it the American way of optimising profits/ Shame! |
