| I DRIVE A VW GOLF 5-I EXTENDED THE MOTOR PLAN TO 90000KM,I SERVICE THE CAR ON A REGULAR BASIS.I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR A SERVICE IN DEC,BEGIN OF JAN I TOOK THE CAR BACK,AFTER THE MOTOR PLAN EXPIRED OF WHICH THEY TOLD ME THAT MY BEARINGS AND MY DRIVE SHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IT WOULD COST ME OVER R10000.MY CAR WAS 700KM OVER THE 90000.I ASKED WHAT COULD BE DONE AS I COULDN'T JUSTIFY A REPAIR OF R10000 ESP AFTER THE CAR WAS SERVICED IN DEC & WHY WAS IT NOT PICKED UP IN DEC.I WAS TOLD TO REQUEST A GOODWILL CLAIM WHICH I DID & IT WAS DECLINED BECAUSE THE MOTOR PLAN EXPIRED?WHAT IS THE POINT TO A GOOD WILL CLAIM THEN?I TOOK THE CAR TO A REPUTABLE COMPANY FOR A 2ND ASSESSMENT,THEY DROVE THE CAR ONLY & INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS PURE WEAR & TEAR OF THE BEARINGS & A VIBRATION AS SOMETHING WAS TOUCHING THE ENGINE & THE MECHANICS SHOULD HAVE PICKED IT UP,NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE DRIVE SHAFT.I REPORTED THE MATTER TO CUST CARE QUERYING THE INCORRECT ANALYSIS-NO REPLY ON THAT,THEY DIDNT HELP,SAYING THAT THE CARS MOTOR PLAN HAD EXPIRED THATS WHY THE GOODWILL WAS DECLINED & THAT BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE HAD TOUCHED THE CAR I LOST MY WARRANTY(DROVE IT ONLY).EXCUSES AFTER EXCUSES-VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! | |||
