| My Volkswagen Golf VI 1.4 TSI was with VW Lindsay Saker Welkom for 6 weeks to repair an engine failure. During this time I received no updates or feedback i.t.o. the progress on work done. During this time I was not offered and assistance or transport. When I phoned the principle dealer he was not interested in my problem but immediately handed the phone to the Workshop Manager who is even less interested to listen to customers or render a service to clients. He promised a loan vehicle which I never received. After the vehicle was fixed I was not informed although, they were made aware of the fact that I was going on leave. The attitude is "we don't need to render a service - the product sells itself". The veihle broke down again (same problem) before it reached Rustenburg from Welkom. The knowledge of Volkswagen Mechanics is scary - they know how to help a person onto his feet time after time. The VW TSI engines give problems world wide and is not trustwotrthy at all. Over and above the bad product the chery on the cake is the lack of knowledge of the staff and the poor service. | |||
