| On Thursday 1 December 2011, I took my car to the Lindsay Saker East Rand mall service centre for its annual service. Upon my arrival I was directed to Vannessa van Jaarsveld who was my service advisor. After signing all the relevant forms, Vanessa informed me that although Lindsay Saker would provide me with transportation back to my home which is 9km away, they would however not be able to provide me with transportation to return to the dealership to fetch my car. Had I been informed of this prior to booking my car for a service, I would have made the relevant transportation arrangements. Transportation in this regards is limited to a 15km radius from the dealership, this is also not communicated to you when booking in your vehicle. Due to this oversight by your service team, I was forced to cancel my service and return home. In spite of me trying to come to some arrangement with Vanessa she informed me that all her drivers would be busy and she would not be able to assist me.Most other car dealerships offer you transportation when servicing your car as they have enough foresight to know that you would be without a vehicle whilst it is being serviced. | |||
