I have G6 GTI 2010 DSG. Since 60K Km gearbox oil change my car have been in & out of L.Saker workshops more that 5 times already for same problem. L Saker ARP done the gearbox services and couple of weeks after a warning pop up (oil pressure level engine speed 4000rpm Max) and before I know it a cloud of smoke all over, I stop to spec & found an oil filter on top of the gearbox cracked. Car was towed to L.Saker ARP Peter booked it in & a day later was told the car is fixed, drove around couple of days same warning, stop to inspect & there's oil drops, I drove back to L.Saker showed it to Mike & the answer I GOT WAS THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. Couple of weeks later Breakdown, L. saker ARP try to fix it, day later was told is fixed but to my surprise it wasn't. On 24NOV11 same breakdown occurred the car was towed to L. Saker ARP Peter attend to it & decision was made to sent it to L.SAKER H. PARK gearbox center & i was told not to worry they will fix the problem & the gearbox housing as well. I clearly asked ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT & HE ANSWERED YES. 2 weeks later I collected the car & let me just say is worse done before,Jacking, NoPower, MissingGear. Am carless NOW. |
