Vacuum cleaner VC1016NNDS absolute rubbish!

Up to now I have been a great fan of LG products & have a microwave, large fridge,TV, prev, Vac Cleaner and other products that have served me well. My latest purchase of a domestic vacuum cleaner has been a total disaster. The unit cuts out even before a small-size room is cleaned and one has to wait up to 30min. to re-start, which really is not acceptable as to vacuum the entire house takes forever. Took the unit to LG ** - were most unhelpful and said the filter was dirty - that after 5min. use - in other words the cleaner has to be cleaned out before it has even done 5min. work!. - unacceptable!. They sent me back to Game to book a repair - which I did - the 'repaired' machine did exactly the same. Frustrated by the entire process, I went straight across to House and Home & purchased a Samsung, for R100.00 less, which cleans perfectly non- stop and hasn't been cleaned out for a week or 2 - no problem. As far as I'm concerned this product is a total disaster! and influence the brand negatively - I will most definitely not be purchasing another LG product in future as this purchase has wasted a great deal of my time without a solution in sight!.

Utterly Disgusted: No response from LG whatsoever aside the lip service to Hello Peter - Taken the cleaner back to Game for the second time after they claimed to have repaired - don't really have the time to chase after repairs as I'm certain the fault remains and will have to take back again, and  again!. In the meantime I have not had the use of the item purchased about 3 months ago at all. All I now want is a refund which I will donate to charity and forget the whole thing as frustration worse than writing off!
