After paying almost R9000 for a washing machine you think you would get good service from LG. After just over a year it started making a loud noise when spinning, so I call LG since my machine is under a 2 year warranty. It took them a WEEK to send someone to come look. He looked at it for about 3 minutes and told me that its probably broken because i use dodgy washing powder. I didn't realise Skip broke washing machines? He then told me I needed a part and he would come back tomorrow or the next day. Of course he never pitched. I call again and get told it will take 2 weeks, there is nothing else they can do, and then i get accused of overloading my washing machine and THAT is the reason it broke, (apparently not the soap powder anymore) and i am only so lucky they are willing to honor their warranty. They ASSURE me my part will be arriving on the next shipment. Two weeks later I call back and get told "sorry you have to wait another week". So like an ***** i wait another week only to phone again and be told WAIT ANOTHER WEEK!!! Its been over a month without a machine and I am STILL being strung along. UNACCEPTABLE. I will NEVER buy another LG product again. |
