| On 12th Dec 2011 I reported my dishwasher's salt light kept staying on. On 19th Dec 2011 a technician named Mark came out to look. He tried a new sensor but the light still stayed on and then went away. On 20th Dec 2011 Mark came back with a new PC Board and new salt dispenser. The fault was not the PC board but was the magnet inside the salt dispenser which was stuck. He replaced the whole salt dispenser. When we tried to use it that night an error message of EI came up and the machine stopped working (this meant there was a water leak onto the electrics and the automatic cutoff switch came into effect). Contacted Mark again and he came out on 22nd Dec 2011 and said he'd fixed it. On evening of 22nd Dec 2011 when we used it, again it cutoff because of water. Contacted Mark again and he came out on 23rd Dec 2011 and again that evening - automatic cutoff. Sent an e-mail to LGE in South Africa and a service call was put out for Mark on 28th Dec 2011. Phoned Service dept again today (29th Dec) and eventually spoke to a manager called Dave. He said he would contact Mark & get him out. It's now 6.30pm and still no-one has been. Feel like taking all our LG appliances & chucking them away | |||
