LG Fridge: Still waiting... Poor service

I bought my LG 390 litre fridge/freezer (model nr: GR-B399BQ) just over a year ago, it is still under warrenty. I noticed just over a month ago that my ice takes over a day to freeze and the fridge is making a very loud noise.. I then went to Game Cape Gate where I bought my fridge. They then forwarded my query to Cape Town Electronics which is the LG supplier. Since then my fridge completely packed up. I've been without a fridge for 2 weeks now. It's really inconvenient to say the least, especially in this heat. A week has gone by and no replacement fridge. I contacted them again yesterday and they said they are waiting for my proof of purchase from Game. I contacted Game and they said I must bring in my proof of purchase. I did so yesterday. When I got there, they say my fridge is not stocked any more by LG. They can give me a refund and I can use that money to buy a new fridge. Since I bought my fridge the prices of fridges sky-rocketed. I cannot buy any fridge with near the features and size of what I had. Mine was a 390 litre no-frost/anti-freeze auto-defrost fridge/freezer. Why must I now pay an additional R2000 or more for a new fridge when my fridge is still under warrenty
