| I went onto Kulula this morning to book tickets to Cape Town and every single flight on the day of my departure and of my return showed R499. Select the fares and goes through all the way to the pay page and the page freezes. Within a minute I go back into the website to try again and now all of a sudden ALL the SAME flights on the SAME dates AND SAME times are now R599??? Thanks for that Kulula. | |||

Hello Hayley Fen, Thank you for getting in touch with us. Whilst changes had been made to our system to prepare it for the online sale, this was unfortunately not enough as the amount of customer trying to book flights on the special had greatly increased since our last sale. As with any form of congestion, bookings did take longer to be processed. Our IT department has been advised of this and are currently working on the problems with the website. We will be changing over to a new system from May 2012, we are confident that with the change in systems our service provided during on our online sales will be greatly improved. We had 150 000 seats on sale on all our routes, there was only a certain amount of seats on each flight and subject to availability at the time of booking. Offer excludes group bookings, special events, long weekends, school holidays and peak periods. Please be advised that kulula.com is a live system. It is accessible to the public at all times and there was a limited amount of seats available on the selected flights at the promotional prices.
