| I will be without a car for 22+ days for a simple maintenance issue. My Kia Sedona broke down on 13 Jan. It was towed to Kia Northcliff +/- 11:00. The same day they advised that the problem a alternator was faulty - I was promised my car back on Tuesday. However, the warranty claim was approved only on 17 Jan (5 days passed)! Despite promises no one called me back (Kim&Werner). I went to the dealer personally at 17:10. They said the claim was finally approved but there were no parts. On 18 Jan. the message was that parts are on back order from Korea. I asked for a loan vehicle but was told NO. They will have the unit repaired in the interim. Kia only granted approval for this after another 2 days 20 January (8 days after they received the car!) It took another 5 days. On Tuesday 24 Jan. they told me it could not be fixed. Kia is not able to get parts into the country soon, due to New Year in Korea. Yet not the dealer (Cheraaz, 0117319452) and nor Kia ** Customer Service (Jessica at 0114570200) will give me a loan vehicle. Surely the car dealer must be able to make a plan? Does this appaling service happen too often and costs too much? | |||

| Indifferent: I was called by the service dealer to collect a small Kia Picanto which I can use until 14 February. While I am pleased to have transport again, it does not really compare with the 8 seater I drive normally. I am disappointed that writing a letter like my one to Hello [URL Removed] was the only way to get a (small) response from Kia. | |||
