Dear Kia, I was a big Kia fan, I even bought a Carens and a Picanto. The Carens now has issues and has been in the service Centre for a week, with no movement, no repairs have been effected as the warranty claim is still not authorised by Kia Korea. The car was bought with a local warranty and serviced locally. In my previous repair (2011), Kia had parts and gladly charged me R10 000 for a repair. The issues experienced now were reported then and have come back, plus an additional issue. Now because it is a warranty claim, there are no parts, no part numbers and no authorisation for the parts to be replaced etc. Is the Kia warranty really worth the paper it is written on or is Kia hoping I eventually drive past the warranty km figure and simply go away? Kia - please dont continue this way - honour the warranty or trade the vehicle in and settle the debt. I am simply not going to continue to pay for repairs for a car that supposedly has a warranty! The last bill for R10k was already excessive and now its a steering wheel issue, ball joint issue etc. Your service centre can do nothing without this admin process, please get it sorted! |
