Car failure

I sounds to me Kia is a bad bay. I bought my Kia Sedona Jun 2011. With only 11 000 km on the clock my car died on me on Saturday. It was towed in to the Menlyn branch and after 2 days they told me it was the feul pum and filter. BUT it is not covered in the warranty. I bought the car after the salesperson told me all the good points about the 5 year service plan and warranty Something I could not get from the other company's. But never once was it mentioned that the petrol pump is excluded. Yes we signed the contract but after what the salesperson told me I did not feel the need to read everything because it was such a good car and company - suppose to be!!!! No tell me. Now what I think is that is a general problem with all Kia's that is why they exclude it from the contract and fail to tell you about it. I have a school and need a save care to drive children around. I will never feel save again because what next. If the pump fail after only 11 000 km what is the next thing to go AND am I suppose to bay a new filter again in 11 000km? I don't think so because I will not be driving it that long. I will sell it asap and tell every body to watch out for KIA.
