On the 14/01/2012 at 19:05 I placed an order for a Variety Bucket though the drive-thru. When i get to the payment/collection window Alice demanded the R129.90 and ringed it up, as she was handing me the change she by-the-way said that I would have to wait outside the branch gate, in a notoriously crime ridden area with at least 6 thugs at any time, for TWO minutes.I refused. After the two minutes, Lizzy comes to say that i must park outside for another EIGHT minutes, as the Hot Wings were only being prepared then. I refused again and asked for the manager. Lourens the Assistant Manger came, explaining that the Hot Wings would take eight minutes, due to his staff not preparing on time. He asked us to move to the outside area and offered us 2 cans of coke, and personal delivery (to the car) within 5.5 minutes. My Expectations: 1)Training the staff to be more courteous and inform the customer of any delay, BEFORE accepting payment. 2)Whilst the Assistant Manger is attending to the problem, the staff should not be bickering behind him. 3) A drive-thru should have a designated and fenced off parking area for delays such as this. Hats of to Lourens as he provided HOT Hot-wings! |

Not Impressed:
The complaint was incorrectly handled, due to the poor reading skills of the KFC Customer care operator. My complaint was forwarded to the wrong branch! |
