Apr 2010 we took over the contract of a lady that needed to move. JL would not let us just took it over, but made us sign a NEW contract, only for the remaining 10 mths of her contract. (Thus paying ALL the fees of a new contract!) On 6 Dec we indicated that we would like to renew the contract. NO response from JL. On 22 Dec we enquired and confirmed the email of 6 Dec. Just before close of business for the holidays JL contacted us and were told the the owner will not renew the contract. In an e-mail to me, Annelle said the agent , Ryan spoke telephonically to the owner and that SHE would not renew. In an e-mail to my partner she said, that she got an email from the owner and that HE would not renew. (We know the owner is a lady!) On enquiry why this will not be renewed, we were told that they (JL) or the owner do not have to give ANY reasons! They were also not prepared to forward the original email of the owner Was the owner REALLY contacted? Or is this just another scheme by JL to make MORE money! As tenants we looked after the apartment as if our own. Per contract, we were obliged to sign a debit order, thus rent paid ON time, every month! I still need answers! |

Utterly Disgusted:
Arrogante houding! Real BAD attitude! UIters ongeskik! Indien kontrak hernu sou word, 6% verhoging, m.a.w. eienaar sou 'n paar rand ekstra verdien. Nou word woonstel geadverteer teen R100 meer as wat ons tans betaal het. Word die belange van eienaar regtig na gekyk? Weereens 'n bewys JUST LETTING slegs ingestel om meer geld vir hulleself te maak ! |
