| I was renting a flat through this agency and we were helped by Alf. He assured us that the inspection sheet was true and correct before we could move inn. However 1 week after we moved in it rained and the roof was leaking in the 2 bedrooms & the bathroom; the Kitchen and the dining room was flooding, we immediately called for help and Alf promised to send a handyman to fix the problem. The guy stated that this was an overdue defect and he has told the agency about the flooding & leaking roof already with the previous tenant. After that we did not hear from the office even though I tried calling them daily. after 3 weeks the outside tap was leaking and the water was coming into the kitchen wall, still no 1 come through after a 2nd defect reported, till we visited their offices to sort out the mass, then we were told we can't be helped! The owner is not willing to fix the flat. We didn't pay rent I was leaving in those conditions with my 4 yrs old son who even got sick because of the mouldy. We got a call reminding us of rent and I didn't pay still, I decided to move out without my deposit and took this up with my Attorney and I just found out that I am listed by them after all! | |||
