| After cleaning the flat twice (my cleaning lady and myself cleaning whole flat) they still charged R350 for cleaning.They pointed out that the oven was still dirty&I agreed that they can get someone in to clean ONLY the oven.R350 is R200 more than charged in the area for cleaning an entire 2bedroom flat.After inquiring about the deposit, Chere said the blinds were dirty&they need to get it cleaned,but need to wait for the new tenants to give them access.Why new tenants have moved in before our lease expires but we have to wait for our deposit,she couldn't say.She refused us access to the flat the last week of our rental to clean ourselves.She charged R800 for cleaning blinds.This is on top of the fact that the flat was given to us in an unclean state.They painted the flat during the year&spilled paint on most of our appliances.She said the cleaning people took photos of the dirty place-but there is no proof of when such photos where taken-and none were taken in our presence.They could not give us a breakdown of the interest accumulated on our deposit&changed the amount abritrarily after inquiring about it.She said tenants should neverclean flats themselves,THEY ALWAYS clean AGAIN | |||
