I was a little taken back last night at John Dory's. When we arrived at Restaurant, on the waiters shirt had a 50% off you meal meal special for Ladies, we were a table full of ladies, so we asked the waiter about the special and she said we need to sign up to be a member. The reply from her was sure no problem, we also asked the question that would it be possible to have the discount on the current bill the answer was yes. So we ordered and finished our meal and asked for the bill.When the bill came we had to ask twice for the bill and reminded them about the forms and this discount. However the bill came the waiter had a different story and because we were going to watch the show we did not have time to play with. We did ask the manger and he then informed us that you need to be a members first. WHICH IS NOT ON THERE ADVERTISING. and was not said at first when we asked about it. The manager than said we must fill in the forms and than he will give us the discount, we had already paid and we had said that. Than the manager after we needed to fill out the forms said no because we have already paid he can not give us a discount. It was very shocking!!!! |
