I'm a foreign student in this country for 4years now. I used to be a protea medical aid client. This year in february i decided to visit the Ingwe medical aid Stand in our campus during the registration period and after listening to the presentation of the marketers i decided to rather apply for a new medical aid with them. That was a very bad decision which i deeply regret today. The gentlemen helping me was very efficient in getting me pay 6 month fees upfront via a bank deposit and then that was it. he promised me that within day i will receive my confirmation letter with my medical aid number and medical aid card. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. This was in february and up to today 10th of june i still dont know my medical aid number, and i still dont have my medical aid card. And the 6 month i have paid for is almost over. In may i decided to go to momemtum offices in mowbray and try to sort it out there directly. The lady , after checking in the system ,confirmed that my payment was reflected in the system but that my medical aid was not active yet. She asked me to give her some documents and promised she would take care of it. I did send the documents but i AM STILL WAITING! HELP! |

Hello csrproject Our investigations revealed that your application was brought into the office on the 15/03/2011 by Brenston (UWC broker) and the proof of payment received on the 24/03/2011. We then emailed the broker and yourself informing both of you of the outstanding requirements viz. passport and proof of registration. You were also informed of this when you visited our offices, at which stage you promised to either fax or email the details. During a follow up by Brenston (broker), we confirmed receipt of documentation on the 08/06/2011. He then informed us that as per your request to change the start date to the 01/06/2011, which has been amended on our records. Brenston collected the membership card on Friday 10/06/2011, whch is currently at UWC's medical aid office on campus and can be collected on Monday or Thursday's between 9h00 until 12h30.
