      <title>Groupon SA - Breach of Contract - Paid for half a day spa deal reduced to a 2 hour s</title>

<![CDATA[I bought in total 3 Fa'Trez Day Spa vouchers for mother's day (wife, mother and mother in law), a few days ago I received a mail to say that the offer is not valid and that the half day spay is reduced to a 2 hour session, how do you expect me to go to them and tell them that the gift I gave you is not what you going to get?<br> <br> This is unacceptable and even a refund is not good enough, I paid for and received a voucher for a half a day spa for 3 people and I expect to use it for a half a day spa. I am not an unreasonable person and if it was not for the fact that it was a gift, I would not have act this way but this will put me in an extremely embarrassing situation.<br> <br> I have send 2 emails in this regard to their refund and support departments but no response at all, this is a very bad reflection on the company.  <br> <hr>]]>

      <title>Groupon SA - Late / No Delivery - Groupon Dont Stick to promises!</title>

<![CDATA[<b>Initial Report</b><br>I've purchased a Tom-Tom on the 17th of April - with a 3 week delivery promise. I've send various emails - with no replies on the mails. I've phoned the week of the 15th of May - with a promise that I will receive my fully paid product the week after that. Which I never have received. I phoned once again and heard exactly the same story.. It has been invoiced and out for delivery. And then that there is back log for deliveries and replying on mails. But despite that they are still advertising the sale of a Tom -Tom despite the fact that they can't even keep up with the first lot of deliveries. Surely they should keep their customers in touch with what is happening? <![CDATA[i have procured vouchers for named necklaces and two flights with accoldate aviation.  non of which are forthcoming - i have personally liaised with accoladae aviation to be told the vouchers are expired, i did however get hold of them before buying the vouchers to confirm the axact dates i wanted to use them, this was agreed, and i bought the vouchers - after many excuses and extensions, i take it this service will not be delivered.  when contacting groupon about the necklaces, i was told to email the supllier directly, who has not bothered to respond to the email.  throwing away R1000 to groupon, very sour lesson indeed, and neither groupon, accoldate aviation nor the named necklace supplier care.  customer service?? this is why internet buying will not take off in South Africa, as vendors and suppliers cannot keep their word, and use this as f acility to remain out of client reach and to steal their money<hr>]]>

<![CDATA[<b>Initial Report</b><br>I posted a complaint on Hello Peter about Groupon and it was very quick of them to respond after the complaint.   Maurisia left me a message as well as an email with her direct contact details on the 16 April. I was not available to take the call, but tried her number at least 15 times shortly after her message was left, but there was no answer.  Why give me a direct number when no one is available to answer?       <title>Dg Marketing - Breach of Contract - VOUCHER FOR HAIRDRESSER FRAUDULENT</title>

<![CDATA[A representative from DG Marketing sold a 'Privilege Hair Card' to me at the JeanLen center (c/o Lenchen and Jean Ave) in Centurion. When I phoned the owner, Theresa she said that DG Marketing was instructed not to sell the vouchers the previous week and that it is not valid. She said that she would get in touch with them to get my money back. She phone back a few minutes later to say that she will honor the voucher because she cannot get hold of DG Marketing. I made a booking for my son for a haircut for today. When he arrived for the haircut the staff of Carly's where not prepared to cut his hair with the voucher as payment.  I phoned them and told them about my conversation with Theresa the previous week. A man phoned me back after a while, stating that he is the co-owner of Carly's. He said that DG Marketing are selling the vouchers fraudulently and pockets the money without the knowledge of the hairdressers. He was not prepared to honor the voucher or refund me. <br> I phoned DG Marketing and spoke with Dean. He said he has a contract with Carly's to sell the vouchers and he will speak to them. I have not heard from him and it seems that this is a scam. <br> <hr>]]>

      <title>Groupon SA - Feedback / Response - GROUPON NOT USED - CASH CREDIT NOT GIVEN</title>

<![CDATA[I purchased a Groupon voucher for a balloon ride at Monte Casino. When I tried to use it at Monte, the balloon was not operational due to wind / weather. I phoned Groupon 3 days before the voucher expired & asked them to extend the validity. This they could not do & offered me a credit. Not in cash, but against further Groupon purchases. I said I would prefer a cash refund (the huge sum of R70). The lady I spoke to, Nerise, on 12th March, said she would investigate that option & get back to me. I never heard from her. I phoned them again on 14th May & spoke to Deidre. I had to tell the whole story again & was told that she would phone me back the same day. I never heard from her. I phoned again on the 21st May & spoke to Picola. I explained the story again to her, & told her I wanted a cash refund or I would go to Hello Peter with this problem. She assured me that the Manager, someone called JD, was out of the office but she would get him to phone me back the same day. I am still waiting. Hence my complaint. They don't do what they say they will do & their customer service is shocking. In desperation, I purchased another voucher today to use my credit! I won't use them ever again!<hr>]]>

<![CDATA[<b>Initial Report</b><br>I am absolutley disgusted at the service provided by groupon.<br> here is a company that offers us discount on various elements from retails goods, accomodation, flights and many others. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing anything from them to think again.<br> I ordered a retail product 9 weeks ago, based on THEIR terms and conditions and a delivery date of 3 to 4 weeks ( already a long time but its stipulated so you know what you are in for ) I have now been calling since week four and i still cannot even be given an estimated delivery date due to the fact they they have no reord of my calls even though i have a number of ticket numbers confirming every conversation had with them which THEIR system sends me. ridiculous, 4 consultants later and still no answer. even after holding the line for 20 minutes ech time to get an answer.<br> Again i say do not use groupon, i have a retail product issue.<br> What happens when you buy a travel package or book accomodation and you arrive there only to be told sorry but we can find your voucher refference or groupon has not confirmed it.<br> then the fun begins, and due to the fact they make you pay up front you have no way of retrieveing that money <br><br><b>Company Response</b><br><img height="16" align="left" src="http://www.hellopeter.com/images/icons/arrow.png"> <u>24th May 2012, 11:44am</u><br><br>Hello simon1waterson,<br />
