<![CDATA[I received an sms stating that I had not paid for recent blood tests, however I did not receive an invoice in the post! It is nbot my job as a customer to run around for money! This is why people employ a debtors clerk!<br> I phoned the centre over and over and over to request an invoice and each time they took my details down wrong! Eventually I sent an email to this address [Email Removed] I finally got the invoice and paid them straight away 08 May 2012 08:58 AM<br> why then on the 21/05/2012 do I receive a call stating I have been black listed? This is total bs! oh and also not to mention that one of the addresses they sent my results and invoice to was a collegue? who gives them the right to share my medical information? <br> <br> I also requested a call back on their website! to which I received none!!! I will never do blood work with them ever again! pathlab you at least can pay before they send the blood work off! <br> <br> not impressed at all! <br> <hr>]]>

      <title>Life Healthcare - Billing / Accounts - R1500 for 15 minutes and 5 stitches!!!!!</title>

<![CDATA[On Friday evening I had a freak accident and needed some stitches. The staff at casualty was very friendly and helpful. They requested my medical aid details, but I insisted on paying cash for the treatment. The assistant noted that I can pay for the treatment and she can submit all the consumables used to my medical aid, one again I insisted on paying everything cash. After i was stitched up, I paid my bill of R780 and once again I asked if this was it, and they said that everything is now settled.<br> <br> Yesterday my wife got a phone call from a credit controller notifying her that we still owe R800 for using the hospitals facilities, she mentioned that I already paid, but they noted that this was for seeing the Doctor etc, and there is still a fee for using their facilities...I find this absolutely ridiculous, based on the fact that I was led to belief that my bill was settled and R1500 for 5 small stitches that took 15 minutes is just a plain ripp off!<br> <br> I will be contacting an ombudsman and if needed take the legal route as this is unacceptable.<hr>]]>

      <title>R K Khan Hospital - Bad attitude, hygiene, negligence - RK Khan hospital ... The worst hospital in KZN!!!</title>

<![CDATA[My mum was admitted to the above mentioned hospital with a minor chest infection & she lost her life due to the negligence of the doctors & nurses there. When u approach the doctors to know what's going on the patient, they don't tell u everything & then tell you not to bother them everyday! The nurses dont change the linen everyday & just have a don't care attitude! The wards are absolutely FILTHY & UNHYGIENIC! They don't even have proper bedding for the beds! Being a hospital, that is totally UNACCEPTABLE! People go there to get treatment cause they want to get well, & not die! I appeal to the health department to please check out this hospital & do something about it! I've been going there for a week to see my mum & I've seen other people die in the very same ward because the nurses & doctors just don't care about treating the patients properly. I know that nothing is going to bring back my mum but I would really appreciate it if something is done about that DISGUSTING hospital!<hr>]]>

      <title>Lifesense - Going the Extra Mile - EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL EXISTS</title>

<![CDATA[I would like to say thumbs up to Lifesense, not only have they been supportive from day one when I registered for my HAART, they also call now and then to check on how I am doing with the treatment. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and have already received the baby syrup as well as the formula. Thanks for your excellent service and going an extra mile, You are really a second family....<hr>]]>

      <title>Netcare - Malpractice - KINGSWAY Hospital Disgust</title>

<![CDATA[At 1am my son was admitted to KWH for croup. I paid 150 for a/hrs, i paid 300 for xrays. We nebulised and then came bloods - i was told to wait, however granny went in & saw the nurse with her elbow in my 18m old's face holding him down,digging for blood. The xrays are technology from 20years ago, the meds given are recognised for use in WW1. In a nutshell we were told; he needed surgery for adenoids, sinus is closed, has terrible croup, has bronchitus. My son was fine and active, Dr said we need to treat him there & go on friday. Dr said we cannot leave & nebulise at our GP as there will be diff in opinions for our Dr, he tried to keep us but signed us out, then insisted we stay to Friday as baby was horribly ill. I t/ferred out as my Med Aid said there will be HUGE copayment. I wasnt sooner finished checking in when Dr told me my baby is healthy, croup is gone & he has flu. My son was placed under all this trauma FOR NOTHING. twice held down digging for blood for hundreds of tests, and nearly in surgery for Netcares bank balance. Meds were opened AS WE Left, so they were charged out. Sister Anne was our only light in the hospital. My son slept well, is eating well and playing 110<hr>]]>

      <title>Glynwood hospital - Bad Attitude - Bad service at Glynwood Hospital from Dr T Kourie</title>

<![CDATA[My father in law has gland/throat and long cancer. He is only able to speak a little bit because it hurts too much. <br> <br> The doctor mad him swallow a camera... The nurse and the doctor told us the info from the camera could not be read and that the IT people are busy with the camera and the info.<br> <br> My father started to use a suction pipe to clear his throat from slim. He started feeling something moving while sucking and what did he get out, the camera that was still stuck in his throat.<br> He told Dr T Kourie about it and showed him the camera; Dr T Kourie just said it is worth nothing now, AFTER all the stories about IT and the info.<br>   <br> Dr T Kourie gave him an update on the cancer; but my father is not able to speak to us to let us no what the doctor said. When my wife asked Dr T Kourie for an update he started screaming at her and got a hissy fit like a girl. He then trough his arms in the air and said he is not there to update the family.<br> <br> Dr T Kourie is the worst doctor ever and a will not recommend any person to go to Glynwood Hospital or to let Dr T Kourie work with you.<br> <hr>]]>

      <title>Arwyp Medical Centre - Bad Attitude - Arwyp Medical Centre is the worst hospital</title>

Bad service, bad attitudes and do not care about any patients.  <br> I stay in Kempton Park and the Arwyp Medical Centre is about 5 km from my house BUT I will rather drive to Linmed or Sunning Hill hospital for service. <br> <hr>]]>

      <title>Netcare - Billing / Accounts - NO STATEMENT RECEIVED SINCE JANUARY 2012</title>

<![CDATA[<b>Initial Report</b><br>My twins tonsils was removed in January 2012. On 16 May 2012 at 13:13 I received a call asking me to come and pay our account.  I only received my statement on 18 May 2012.  Why does it take such a long time to submit and statement? And to call me and ask for payment, when I know nothing about it?  This is not the first time this happened.  Very poor service from their accounts department.  I have not even received an invoice for the amounts that had to be paid.       <title>Lancet - Billing / Accounts - ITC listed after I forwarded proof of payment for </title>

<![CDATA[<b>Initial Report</b><br>We have made use of Lancet for services and accounts were handed over that were supposedly outstanding since 2010. Our medical aid provided proof that it was paid. I forwarded the proof as well to them and informed them that we have oroof we are not in arrears with ANY accounts. <br> <br> They still have the arrogance to list us on ITC. The original bill was debited for the amount of R4 472.22 of which R 3 345.79 was paid on 16/09/2011 leaving a shortfall of R1 126.43. Subsequently on 23 March 2012, the medical aid made payments to the amount of R1 942.02. However, the total amount of R3 345.79 was then reversed ultimately increasing the amount to R2 530.20. <br />
Your medical aid cites the reversals as incorrect payments that you are not legible for due to the Plan that you belong to. <br />

      <title>Life Healthcare - Bad attitude/poor hygiene and post operative care - Disgusting helthcare service</title>

<![CDATA[<b>Initial Report</b><br>Daughter had emergeny apendectomy, wound went septic 4 days later, wound was re-opend in a general ward, daughter left lying on bloody sheets for the night, then discharged after 4 days with a huge open wound stating that she was ready to go back to school as per normal,regardless of the fact that the wound required constant dressing care.<br> during her stay a shoot out occured in her ward leaving her traumatised, to date not a single phone call offering counselling, i always held westville hospital in high regard, however, in my opinion they are are now on par with addington hospital and god forbid i ever have to go there again.<br><br><b>Company Response</b><br><img height="16" align="left" src="http://www.hellopeter.com/images/icons/arrow.png"> <u>23rd May 2012, 9:43am</u><br><br>Hello trick,<br />
